Water Protector Posters

I created these illustrations/fliers during moments when I felt frustrated and helpless to contribute to the prevention of the construction of the Dakota Access and KeystoneXL oil pipelines through unceded territories of my tribe. Being in graduate school far away from home can make engagement difficult. Sometimes making is the only possible outlet for urgent issues. Given the ongoing movements to preserve ecological sovereignty and to prevent the construction and proliferation of these oil pipelines, I am certain I will need to make many more.
