The Old Towns of Djenné is a branding project for the UNESCO World Heritage site located in the town of Djenné in Mali, West Africa. The branding project consists of: a site guide with information about the Old Towns of Djenné and UNESCO World Heritage Sites; a logo and typemark; print ads of various sizes for the New Yorker; a website mockup for both desktop and mobile; an app button; business cards; letterhead; and envelopes. Formal choices for the brand were inspired by the architecture of the site as well as textile patterns in the area, one of their chief economic exports.
